Job summary

Our Lady of the Skies Catholic Parish in Warner Robins, GA seeks a part-time Catholic Religious Education Coordinator. The role supports sacraments, RCIA, and RE activities for grades K-8 and high school, with Sunday duties and base outreach.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training teachers, maintaining attendance reports, and coordinating a yearly RE calendar and budget within the Air Force Base chaplaincy context.

Qualifications

• Should have 6 years of experience directing a religious education program.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience instructing all age groups and public speaking.
• Excellent telephone, keyboarding, and customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and public relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Support services: RCIA, Sacramental Classes, confirmations, and related activities including planning and attendance.
• Demonstrate professionalism and compassion with base community and parishioners.
• Promote and participate in the Our Lady of the Skies Catholic Parish RE program.
• Collaborate within interfaith environment of Air Force Chaplaincy Program.
• Recruit, train, and supervise teachers, staff, substitutes, and students.
• Maintain monthly attendance reports and annual RE calendar and budget.
