Job summary

The Highlands School in Irving, Texas seeks a full-time Curriculum Coordinator to lead high school curriculum development and provide targeted student academic support. Reporting to the Principal, this role balances curriculum leadership with direct learning assistance to ensure fidelity to Regnum Christi Education standards.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in education (master’s preferred) and 3–5 years of high school teaching.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of successful high school teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment at the secondary level.
  • Practicing Catholic who will support Highlands School mission and values.
  • Experience with Regnum Christi Education is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Implementation & Alignment: integrate Catholic identity and leadership development across courses.
  • Ensure vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment across departments and grades.
  • Maintain curriculum maps, scope/sequence, and pacing guides; support accreditation documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver effective instruction and assessments.
  • Coordinate common assessments and curriculum-based evaluations; analyze data to inform instruction.
  • Support professional development on curriculum and Regnum Christi formation.
  • Communicate curriculum expectations clearly to faculty and stakeholders.
