Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the implementation of curriculum and instructional strategies to increase student achievement.
• Collaborate with the Department of Professional Learning to plan and conduct workshops, conferences, and teacher training institutes to improve instruction.
• Define or redefine the curriculum content of each course and direct curriculum writing activities.
• Select, develop and evaluate district assessments and resources.
• Maintain two-way communication with district programs and committees regarding curriculum and instruction.
• Assist in securing grants and private funding to support instructional programs.
• Facilitate appropriate placement criteria for students in courses.
• Engage with the community to interpret and promote district curriculum programs.
