Job summary

Saint Rose Catholic School is seeking an Extended Care Director to lead before- and after-school programs for Preschool through 8th grade. You will train, supervise, and evaluate staff, manage daily operations, and maintain a safe, engaging environment with quality communication to families.

The role includes attendance tracking, supplies and snacks management, some billing coordination, and ensuring compliance with state certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience working with children in educational or child care settings.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to pass Tennessee TBI background check and Safe Environment Training.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: oversee daily operations of before-school and after-school care programs.
• Staff Supervision: train, schedule, and evaluate extended care teachers, aides, and substitutes.
• Student Safety & Enrichment: maintain a secure environment, enforce school rules, coordinate crafts and activities.
• Administrative Duties: track attendance, manage supplies and snacks, coordinate billing/records with main office, ensure state certification compliance.
• Parent Communication: communicate with parents regarding behavior, needs, and concerns.
• Security: ensure safety measures during weather, fire, and emergencies and manage releases to authorized contacts.
• Summer Camps: oversee registration, staffing, and administrative duties for Camp Saint Rose.
