Job summary

The Diocese of Austin seeks an AV Intern to support audiovisual needs for University Catholic Center events during the 2026-2027 academic year. You will help with live recording, streaming, and media posting under the direction of the Director of Evangelizations and Communications.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, livestream operations, and assisting with online postings while maintaining attention to detail and teamwork in a faith-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or acceptable to state education agency.
• Current UT Austin student for the 2026-2027 academic year.
• Experience with live audiovisual work for events is preferred.
• Familiarity with posting videos to social media and basic video editing.

Responsibilities

• Set up microphones, projectors, monitors, and cables for events in various rooms.
• Assist with livestreaming/recording events as needed.
• Monitor lights and audiovisual equipment during events.
• Post recorded talks/events to YouTube and other social platforms.
