Job summary

Nexus Integrity Management is seeking an entry-level CP Helper I to support field technicians in installing, testing, and maintaining cathodic protection systems on pipelines and facilities. The role involves outdoor work, physical labor, and frequent travel to job sites, with supervision from experienced crew members.

This position offers hands-on training, safety-focused culture, and opportunities to advance toward CP Technician or NACE certification as you gain field experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather.
• Willingness to travel regionally or nationally for field assignments (overnight stays).

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of CP systems for pipelines and facilities.
• Help perform CP surveys (CIS, DCVG, current testing) under supervision.
• Support field setup and equipment preparation (testing meters, cables, data recorders).
• Record field data accurately on paper, tablet, or digital devices.
• Assist with excavation, wiring, trenching, and backfilling for CP installation.
