Job summary

Aerotek is seeking Assembly Operators for catheter medical device assemblies in San Jose, CA. The role involves meticulous assembly, microscopic work, and subassembly tasks, with training provided and strict documentation practices.

This is a fully onsite, contract-to-hire position offering day or swing shifts. Pay ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Read work orders and follow production drawings or sample assemblies.
• Receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Perform and demonstrate all manufacturing procedures after training.

Responsibilities

• Position and align parts in specified relationships using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.
• Perform intermediate assembly tasks including pad printing, adhesive bonding, hot air bonding, balloon bonding, etching wires, swaging shafts, fusing skiving shafts, folding, marking, braiding, coiling, and leak testing.
• Adjust and trim materials from components to achieve specified medical or dimensional characteristics.
• Package finished assemblies or subassemblies in clear plastic bags.
