Job summary

Adecco is hiring Catheter Assembler/Operators for a 3rd shift in Wheeling, IL. You will work with hand tools, microscopes, and measuring tools in a cleanroom to assemble medical device catheter components and perform go/no-go tests. Training on 2nd shift for two weeks is required.

Shifts: Mon-Fri 10pm-6:20am, must train 2 weeks 3pm-11:20pm. Pay is $20/hr with comprehensive benefits and retirement options. Prior cleanroom/medical device experience is a plus; reliable transportation and attendance

Qualifications

  • Experience with medical device catheter assembly is a plus.
  • Two weeks of training included.
  • Attention to detail required.
  • Able to work in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble catheter components using hand tools and microscopes.
  • Perform intermediate assembly tasks (trimming, cleaning, bonding, curing, impregnating).
  • Measure, cut, and test parts per specifications.
  • Inspect visually and perform go/not-go testing to meet standards.
  • Package final assemblies for sterilization.

Job Descriptions

  • Working with hand tools, microscopes, and electrical measurement tools
  • The ability to work with very small fragile parts in a clean room environment
  • Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as trimming, cleaning, bonding, curing, impregnating to achieve specified dimensional or performance characteristics
  • Measuring, cutting, and testing
  • Working in a cleanroom environment, assembly plastic medical devices
  • Working with specifications, also perform visual inspection
  • Performs go/not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards
  • Prepares and packages final assemblies for sterilization.

Requirements for Medical Device Catheter Assemblers are:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Two weeks training
  • Sedentary position
  • Previous Medical Device assembly experience in a cleanroom environment a plus!
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take instruction
  • Reliable Transportation and exceptional attendance
Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
