Substitute Teacher Services PA - Various Locations, Pennsylvania is seeking substitute teachers to provide instruction when the classroom teacher is absent. You will report to the principal or designee at your assigned location and help maintain a productive learning environment.

Responsibilities may vary daily; you must obtain required clearances, provide references, and have a valid high school diploma. Position is part-time temporary with immediate start availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Pennsylvania criminal records check (Act 34) clean, <1 year old.
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance History (Act 151) clean, <1 year old.
• FBI Criminal History Record through DHS (Use Service Code: 1KG738), clean, <1 year old.
• National Sex Offender Registry clearance (NSOR) clean, <1 year old.
• If lived out of state in last 5 years, obtain clearances from the state resided in.
• TB test or chest X-ray <3 months.
• 3 professional references.
• Resume.
• Routing/Account numbers for direct deposit.
• 2 valid forms of ID for I-9.

Position Summary

A substitute teacher is an individual who, in the absence of the classroom teacher, is responsible for providing instruction and managing the learning environment. The substitute teacher reports to the principal or designee at the location to which they are assigned.

Job Duties

Day to day job duties of a substitute teacher are determined by the classroom teacher or his/her designee, as they may vary depending upon the changing needs of the classroom(s), student(s), and/or school district. Substitute teachers of any capacity are subject to daily reassignment, depending on the needs of the day. The substitute teacher must comply with the duties outlined by the classroom teacher, principal or designee.
