Job summary

HCA Florida Westside Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures in the catheterization labs. The role involves assisting physicians with angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, while operating cath lab equipment and maintaining a sterile, safe environment.

The ideal candidate will possess ACLS/BCLS certifications with timeline adherence and applicable radiography or cardiovascular certifications.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within specified timelines.
• Certificate or license in a relevant allied health field.
• Board certifications such as RCIS, RDCS, RDCS or equivalent must be obtained within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures in the cath lab.
• Operate specialized cath lab equipment during procedures.
• Provide direct patient care throughout the procedural process.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment in the cath lab.
