Job summary

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to provide patient-centered care in the catheterization lab. You will assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.

The role requires ACLS/BLS, graduation from a recognized program, and relevant credentials. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth in sunny South Florida.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Sonography, Respiratory Therapy, LPN, Surgical Tech or Paramedic program.
• Must have one of the following credentials: ARRT-R Radiography, CCT, RCIS, RDCS, State Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist, LPN, Certified Surgical Technologist, or State Paramedic Certification.
• RCIS or ARRT must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures in the catheterization labs.
• Operate specialized equipment during procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
• Provide direct patient care throughout the procedural process.
