Job summary

Baptist Health System is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to perform hemodynamic monitoring and assist physicians during Cath Lab procedures. The role includes training Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab personnel, with completion of required competencies in the introductory period.

The candidate should hold RCIS or RCES certification, BLS is required on hire with ACLS within 60 days. LMRT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post-secondary educational program in health science or equivalent education
• Minimum of 2 years of interventional Cath Lab or 2 years of Electrophysiology experience
• Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) on hire and ACLS within 60 days of hire
• Required certifications: RCIS or RCES; LMRT preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures as part of Cath Lab work.
• Assists the physician during all Cath Lab procedures.
• Trains Cardiovascular Technologists and other Cath Lab personnel.
• Completes established competencies for the position within the introductory period.
