Job summary

SVCC Outpatient Vascular Center in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Part Time Cardiovascular Invasive Tech to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Under the supervision of a physician, you will assist in cardiac and vascular catheterization, perform baseline assessments, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Requirements include health sciences degree or EMT/Paramedic certification; ACLS not required but must be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate in health sciences program or licensed EMT/paramedic.
• ACLS not required for hire but must be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac and vascular procedures under physician direction.
• Serve as first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization.
• Perform baseline patient assessments and monitor patient responses in the cath lab.
