Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist for a full-time day shift. Four 10-hour shifts, Mon–Fri 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; no weekends or holidays.

The role includes assisting in cardiac and vascular procedures under physician supervision and serving as first assistant in catheterization labs. Required: diploma/degree in health sciences or related field; BLS/ACLS within 90 days; RCIS preferred; 1 year of cardiac tech experience preferred; on-call duties with

Qualifications

• RCIS preferred; BLS/ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of Cardiac Technician experience preferred.
• Experience with EP and Cardiac Cath procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac and vascular procedures under physician direction.
• Perform baseline patient assessments and monitor response during catheterization lab procedures.
• Act as a first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization.
• Provide patient care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory as requested.
