Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, an associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field, or an acceptable equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• State licensure as applicable (Texas MRT or LMRT) required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies; leaders and teamwork.
• Promotes Catholic Healthcare principles and organizational values.
• Maintains major equipment operation and documents for quality control.
• Participates in daily room checks and stocking of supplies.
• Accesses patient schedule and ensures correct information for procedures.
• Ensures proper equipment, supplies, and room configuration for procedures.
• Collaborates with Cath Lab team to ensure patient care and efficiency.
• Enters patient information into cath lab systems and wires documentation.
• Performs fluoroscopy and digital image acquisition as directed.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and stops line if sterile protocol is broken.

Skills

BLS certification

ACLS certification within 6 months

PALS certification within 6 months

Radiology teamwork

Education

Associate degree in Radiology Technology or healthcare field

Bachelor's degree preferred
