Job summary

Midwest Cardiovascular Institute is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under physician supervision. You will operate equipment, ensure patient safety, and follow department protocols during procedures to uphold quality care.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Licensed by the IL State Board of Medical Examiners in Radiologic Technology.
• 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment checks and maintain equipment for procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms with necessary supplies and assist with patient positioning and imaging.
• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional treatments.
• Ensure radiation safety and maintain sterile techniques during procedures.
• Document procedures accurately and assist with inventory management.
• Provide training and act as a resource for staff.
• Transport patients and adhere to safety protocols.
