Job summary

University Hospitals seeks a Radiology Technologist for the Interventional Suites to support cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. You will assist the cardiologist and electrophysiologist, prepare patients, enter histories in the EMR, and ensure sterile technique and radiation safety.

The role requires ARRT-R, Ohio license, and clinical experience in interventional radiology or cath labs; BCLS/ACLS within required timeframes.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technology Program or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Program required.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Lab preferred.
• Advanced EKG recognition course experience within 1st year of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and identify age-specific needs.
• Assist in history taking and entering data into EMR/Hemodynamic system.
• Prep patient, attach leads, pads and BP cuff, and set up sterile field.
• Assist physician at table, maintain supplies and equipment with fiscal awareness.
• Maintain radiation safety and QA throughout procedures.
