Job summary

St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Lufkin is seeking a Cath Lab Tech who will support physicians by performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab.

You will independently operate ancillary equipment such as IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet, while adhering to radiation safety and delivering high-quality patient care. Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiology Technology Program.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
• Registered Cardiac Elect or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
• Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in a hospital setting

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

Pay Range

$32.30 - $48.05 /hour
