Job summary

St. Luke's Health–The Vintage Hospital in Houston, part of CommonSpirit-Health, seeks a Cath Lab Tech to support cardiovascular care and procedures. You will deliver diagnostics and therapies, using a range of lab equipment to support physicians in diagnosing and treating heart disease.

You will operate IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet, while maintaining radiation safety and quality imaging for timely, accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Associates Of Science upon hire required.
• Minimum three (3) year clinical experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

Every day you'll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.
