St. Luke's Health - Memorial Lufkin is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to support diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures. You will operate diverse lab equipment, maintain radiation safety, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.

Required radiology tech training and ARRT certification; ACLS/BLS preferred. Prior interventional cath lab experience is a plus. This on-site role supports our East Texas hospital network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiology Technology Program (required).
• ARRT Radiography technologist certification (required).
• BLS CPR certification within 14 days of start.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of start.
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab.
• Independently operate ancillary lab equipment (IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy, laser, AngioJet).
• Maintain radiation safety and high-quality imaging workflow.
• Demonstrate scrubbing techniques for interventional procedures.
• Provide patient-focused care and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting. Every day you'll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers. To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

Preferred

• Acute care hospital experience
• One (1) year of experience in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
