Job summary

St. Luke's Health–The Vintage Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to deliver high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab setting.

You will independently operate ancillary equipment such as IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet, demonstrating scrubbing competencies and strong radiation safety practices to support physicians and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science required on hire
• Minimum three (3) year clinical experience in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab
• Operate and manage ancillary equipment (IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser, angiojet)
• Maintain scrubbing techniques and radiation safety practices
• Support physicians to achieve timely, accurate diagnoses and treatments

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

Pay Range

$37.40 - $55.63 /hour
