St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Lufkin is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

You will operate all ancillary equipment, scrub for procedures, and apply radiation safety practices to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety. Strong teamwork and commitment to quality care are essential.

Competenze

• Graduate of Radiology Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT.
• Medical Radiographer: TX.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
• Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in a hospital setting

Mansioni

• Deliver patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cath lab.
• Operate all ancillary equipment listed in the lab daily (IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser, AngioJet).
• Scrub for diagnostic and interventional procedures with proper radiation safety.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate of Radiology Technology Program
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT

Preferred

• Associate degree in a related field
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
