St. Luke's Health in Memorial Lufkin is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures in the cath lab setting.

You will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease while delivering high-quality patient care. Daily tasks include independent operation of lab equipment (IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser, angiojet), scrubbing, radiation safety, and ensuring accurate results and timely

Qualifications

• Graduate Radiology Technology Program completed and ARRT registered.
• CPR and ACLS certifications required within stated timelines.
• 3+ years clinical hospital experience in radiology/cath lab context.

Responsabilités

• Operate cath lab equipment including IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet.
• Scrub and assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures with radiology safety practices.

As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

Every day you'll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate of Radiology Technology Program
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
• Registered Cardiac Electr or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
• Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in a hospital setting

Preferred

• Associate degree in a related field
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Pay Range

$32.30 - $48.05 /hour
