CHRISTUS Health in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist I to support catheterization procedures by preparing the lab, operating imaging equipment, and documenting hemodynamic data, while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.

You will collaborate with the procedure team, serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray use, and develop proficiency in cath lab technologies such as fluoroscopy, IVUS, and ICE.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, an associate's degree in a healthcare-related field, or an acceptable equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsabilidades

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
• Promotes Catholic Healthcare principles in daily practice.
• Ensures major equipment is operational and documents quality control.
• Participates in daily room checks and stocking of supplies.
• Accesses daily patient schedule and appropriate patient information.
• Ensures appropriate equipment, supplies, and room configuration for procedures.
• Collaborates with procedure team to ensure patient care and efficiency.
• Acts as radiation safety representative during X-Ray usage.
• Performs fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition as instructed.
• Trains to operate cath lab equipment including imaging, contrast injector, hemodynamic system, and devices.
• Maintains aseptic technique and patient safety.
• Supports process improvement and patient transport as needed.
• Demonstrates commitment to mission, values and Zero Harm.
