Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Florida is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiovascular team. You will assist physicians during angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, while guiding patients and families with care and reassurance.

This role emphasizes precision with state‑of‑the‑art cath lab technology, patient safety, sterile environment, and collaboration with nurses and physicians.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Potential credentials include RT Radiologic Technologist, RDCS, CRT, RRT/RCP, LPN/LVN, CST or Paramedic as listed; must be obtained within 2 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (CRT-State) Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, or (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or Paramedic
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
