Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. You will assist physicians during lifesaving cardiac procedures, prepare patients and families, and operate advanced cath lab equipment to deliver safe, high-quality care.

You will monitor patient responses and uphold sterile protocols, acting as an advocate for every patient while contributing to a collaborative, compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications must be obtained within specified employment start dates.
• High School Diploma or GED completed within 90 days of start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS credential required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac and vascular procedures such as angiograms and angioplasties.
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain cath lab equipment to ensure safety and efficacy.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain sterile environment and advocate for patient safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
