Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Hemodynamic Monitoring Technician to support the cath lab and related procedures. You will assist physicians, monitor patients, and ensure equipment readiness in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and preferably 1 year of health care or cath lab exposure, with formal cardiovascular technology training preferred.

Qualifications

• Required: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred: Formal cardiovascular technology training.
• Preferred: 1 year health care or cardiac cath lab experience.
• Required: BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing personnel with emergency procedures.
• Maintains and ensures quality control of equipment.
• Cleans and packages instruments/supplies for sterilization.
• Acts as monitor tech as needed.

Job Summary

Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature as well as assists the physician during all procedures. Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
