Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a skilled clinician to assist physicians in invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. The role requires knowledge of Cath Lab/EP equipment and the ability to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular care.

Candidates may come from RCIS, nursing (RN), or related respiratory/paramedic backgrounds, with licenses and BCLS/ACLS on hire. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Cartersville, GA, offering comprehensive patient care in a dynamic lab setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RCIS program or RN nursing degree or related field.
• Experience in healthcare imaging, exercise physiology, paramedic, respiratory, or RN preferred.
• Licenses per above qualifications; BCLS and ACLS required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in invasive cardiac and EP procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of Cath Lab/EP equipment and ensure readiness.
• Provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during procedures.

Overview:

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an accredited a RCIS program Required or
• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required or
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology Required

Work Experience

• No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program Required or
• 1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license . Upon Hire Required or
• If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required, however, RCIS must be obtained within 2 Years Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
