Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a healthcare professional to support physicians during invasive cardiac and EP procedures. You will be familiar with Cath Lab/EP equipment and provide direct and indirect cardiovascular care.

Ideal candidates hold RCIS, RN, or related credentials, with BCLS and ACLS. This position is on-site in Cartersville, GA, with opportunities to grow within the Piedmont network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RCIS program required.
• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing required.
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology required.
• RCIS must be obtained within 2 years if RCIS graduate.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required on hire.
• ACLS required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of Cath Lab/EP equipment and perform related care during procedures.

Overview

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Education

Work Experience

• No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program Required or
• 1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license . Upon Hire Required or
• If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required, however, RCIS must be obtained within 2 Years Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
