Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab. Responsibilities include monitoring, imaging, and assisting with scrub and circulator duties under physician supervision.

The role requires RCIS or ARRT/TX RT(R) equivalence, AHA ACLS, and an associate or bachelor’s degree with healthcare experience. Call duties and 10-hour shifts are noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of date of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assists physician as a monitor tech during cath lab procedures by interpreting dysrhythmia and EKGs and operating physiologic recorder.
• Assists physician with procedures as a scrub tech and operates imaging equipment under physician direction.
• Monitors patient status during procedures as a circulator and manages supplies.
• Prepares lab for procedures and maintains sterile technique.
