Vibra Travel’s is seeking a Radiology Technologist for travel assignments across Vibra partner facilities in the United States. The role requires ARRT and CRT certifications, active radiology licensure, and the ability to travel between states for acute-care placements.

Candidates should have 2+ years of recent experience, fluoroscopy licensing where required, and a valid driver's license. Travel accommodations include potential tax-free stipends and competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required.
• Two (2) years of recent experience required.
• State Fluoroscopy license required where applicable.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
• Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements

Responsabilités

• Position patients for procedures ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound.
• Assist during interventional procedures with sterile environment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media under physician direction.
• Evaluate images for quality and archive in PACS.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report findings.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Calm under high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with cath lab and IR systems.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Current ARRT required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travles-approved vendor required,
• AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• ACLs may be required by some clients.
• Minimum of 1 year experience scrubbing for cardiac cath procedures
• State Fluoroscopy license required where applicable.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Patient Preparation and Positioning: Accurately position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to radiation protection protocols.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images.
• Assistance During Procedures: Assist physicians during interventional procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies, and by maintaining a sterile environment.
• Contrast Media Administration: Prepare and administer contrast media under the direction of a physician, following established protocols.
• Image Evaluation and Archiving: Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper archiving in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
• Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients during procedures, observing for any complications or unusual events, and report findings to the physician.
