Job summary

Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, SC, is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to operate radiographic fluoroscopic equipment during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The role supports physicians, technologists, and nurses to ensure a patient-friendly laboratory environment and participates in call rotations with variable shifts.

The position requires X-Ray, monitoring, and scrubbing proficiency, plus RCIS (preferred), ARRT/CVT, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology.
Must possess a degree from an accredited school of Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred.
ARRT or CVT certification required.
BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

Operates radiographic fluoroscopic equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Assist physicians, technologists, and nurses to maintain a customer-friendly lab environment.
Participate in call rotation and variable shift scheduling.
Scrub during procedures, maneuver catheters and wires, and inject contrast.
Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique; handle sterile equipment.
Adhere to radiation safety policies and practices.
Maintain department safety and inventory; assist with documentation and scheduling.
