Job summary

Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to join our invasive cardiac services team on a full-time first shift. The role supports diagnostic and imaging procedures across Cath Lab, EP Lab, and Cardiovascular Observation Unit, with emphasis on interventional imaging and device implantation.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate degree and ARRT registration, plus Kentucky radiology license and BLS; ACLS and NIHSS may be required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Certificate for Radiologic Technologist required.
• ARRT Registry in Radiography (R) within 90 days of hire date.
• Kentucky Radiation License with the KY Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
• BLS certification required (must obtain if not already).
• ACLS certification within one year of hire.
• NIHSS certification upon Neurovascular orientation completion.

Responsibilities

• Provides healthcare services using cardiovascular, endovascular, and neurovascular imaging and interventional procedures.
• Perform arterial/venous sheath removals and/or closure devices.
• Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures.
• Assist during implantation of permanent pacemakers/ICDs.
• Perform digital imaging techniques and aseptic technique.
• Manage complications such as air emboli, stroke, anaphylaxis, perforations, tamponade.
