Job summary

The Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to support diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures. You will scrub and monitor data under physician guidance, ensuring the procedure room is ready and supplies are stocked.

Candidate must hold ARRT-R/cardiovascular license and RCIS where required, with BCLS and ACLS within 30 days of hire. Prior cardiovascular lab experience is preferred; strong computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R license or state license as required.
• Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• Cardiovascular lab experience preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology/hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and to maintain current.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Cath Lab Tech

Location:Southern Regional Medical Center; Riverdale, GA

Full Time - C all required | Days |10-hour Shifts |

Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.
• Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular
• Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
