Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Cath Lab Tech for the Morton Plant Cath Lab in Clearwater, FL. The role supports diagnostic and invasive procedures within the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team, functioning with minimal supervision.

Requirements include BLS/ACLS, NBRC RRT credential, and 1 year Cath Lab or related experience. The position is full-time with varying shifts and on-site work at Morton Plant.

Qualifications

BLS and ACLS are required.
Active NBRC credential for RRT is required.
Associate degree or CVT pathway with ARRT/RCIS/RCES credentials and 1 year Cath Lab experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist in diagnostic and invasive procedures in the Cath Lab.
Function independently during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.
Support Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team in patient care.

The Cath Lab Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently function during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

Licensure & Certification:

AART or RRT and Active NBRC credential for RRT is required

Required Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR Associates in Respiratory+ RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR Graduate of CVT Program and No Experience OR 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education
