Ideal candidates have Radiologic Technology credentials, ARRT certification, BLS/ACLS (PALS where applicable), and up-to-date knowledge of Cath Lab procedures.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or <2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP experience with routine diagnostics and basic interventions.
• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology as required by state law.
• Licensure/certifications as required by state regulatory agency.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS certification where applicable.
• Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy/physiology and Cath Lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic diagnostic/interventional procedures per orders.
• Educate patients/families about procedures and care.
• Produce high-quality images and document patient info for interpretation.
• Handle invasive/interventional procedures per policies and safe practices.
• Perform equipment QC and troubleshoot to maintain performance.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
• Ensure efficient workflow and manage supplies to prevent interruptions.
• Independently perform prescribed radiographic procedures.
