Qualifications

• Two years of Cardiac Special Procedures Tech experience preferred.
• Radiation safety training within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate various cath lab electrical equipment during procedures.
• Monitor ECG and alert physician to changes or concerns.
• Pre-procedure teaching and obtain signed consent.
• Maintain sterile field and assist physician with catheter procedures.
• Prepare and set up equipment; monitor and report malfunctions.
• Assist in arterial closure and data collection during procedures.
• Provide education to MMC staff and community as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
