Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet in Joliet, IL is seeking a Cath Lab Tech (ARRT-R Required) to join our Cardiology team. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, scrub in for cases, and monitor real-time hemodynamics while ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT-R and state licensure, BCLS on hire with ACLS within 30 days, and proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

ARRT-R and state license required; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
Previous Interventional Radiology department experience preferred.
BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in life-saving cardiac procedures – work with physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases.
Own the procedure room – scrub in, maintain sterile technique, ensure readiness for cases.
Monitor real-time hemodynamic data and impact patient outcomes.
Manage supplies, equipment, and room readiness at a high level.
Support training, collaborate with peers, and participate in continuous improvement.
Contribute to both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Deliver safe, high-quality care – uphold infection control and safety standards.
