Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in providing quality care to surgical patients. You will maintain equipment, rooms and supplies under RN guidance and perform scrub duties while supporting instrument and supply upkeep.

The role requires a minimum of one year of Surgical Technologist experience and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with emphasis on service excellence and flexibility for other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED – Required.
• Accredited School of Technical Training – Required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing quality care to the surgical patient. Responsible for general maintenance of equipment, room and supplies under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Performs scrub duties and assists in maintenance of instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
