Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia Hospital is seeking a Scrub Technician (CST) to support surgical teams under RN supervision. You will prepare the operating room, provide instrumentation, and maintain sterile fields for procedures across ages.

Requires BLS and CST NBSTSA certification; high school diploma or GED; previous surgical experience preferred. Responsibilities include preparing supplies, assisting surgeons, ensuring patient safety, and participating in staff education and quality

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.

• Previous surgical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sets the sterile environment and maintains sterile field during procedures.
• Assists in patient positioning and transport as needed.
• Assists on all types of procedures for patients of all ages.
• Prepares, checks, and monitors medications and dressings.
• Preceptor and educator for staff and new hires.
• Stocking and restocking of supplies; promote teamwork and positive relationships.
