Job summary

Sentara Health in Hampton, VA, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team. This full-time, day shift role offers a collaborative environment, opportunities for professional growth, and involvement in life-saving cardiovascular procedures.

Minimum ASN or RN Diploma required with RN license; BSN/MSN preferred. BLS within 90 days and ACLS within 1 year are required. Approximately 15 days on-call per month with on-call response time of 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• ASN or RN Diploma required.
• RN license required; ACLS within 1 year of hire; BLS within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of RN experience required; acute care or cath lab experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS within 90 days; ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per the nursing process.
• Circulate and monitor invasive cardiac procedures.
• Support interventional radiology procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with the Cath Lab team for patient care and safety.
