Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath, Vascular, and IR Lab Pre/Post unit (CVIS). The role includes a 7:00am–4:30pm schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week and on-call requirements.

Acknowledged qualifications include an Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing; VA RN license (or multi-state); BLS within 90 days; ACLS within 1 year. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing is required.
• BSN/MSN is preferred.
• Virginia RN License required or Compact/Multi-State Eligible; BLS within 90 days; Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process.
• Adhere to standards of practice and professional performance including ethics, communication, and health promotion.
• Coordinate care and educate patients and families as part of the care plan.
