Sentara Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. The role involves assessing and admitting patients, administering medications, and ensuring comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced setting.

A sign‑on bonus up to $20,000 is offered for qualified candidates. Requirements include RN license (Virginia or compact), BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and RN education (ASN/BSN/MSN).

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact multi-state RN license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
• RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN from an accredited school
• RN experience in ICU and/or Emergency Department (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assess/admit patients and perform rounds checks
• Administer medications and monitor effects
• Communicate with family members about care plans
• Provide overall nursing care and coordination in the Cath/EP lab
• Collaborate with team to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes
