Job summary

Baptist Medical Center South in Alabama seeks an RN - Assistant Nurse Manager for the Cath Lab. This full-time role supports the Nurse Manager in organizing day-to-day unit operations and coordinating patient care within Baptist Health's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year staff nurse experience required in hospital areas, 3 years required in Oncology at MCC.
• Charge Nurse experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nurse Manager with day‑to‑day unit operations.
• Coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate unit activities to ensure quality patient care.
• Serve as a coach and mentor to staff and follow nursing processes and performance standards.
• Assist with interview/hiring, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations as needed.
• Assist with scheduling and verification of competencies of staff.
