The Assistant Nurse Manager is also responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and evaluating unit activities for the provision of quality patient care within the framework of the mission, vision and values of Baptist Health. This person demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational skills and interpersonal skills. The Assistant Nurse Manager reports to the Nurse Manager and serves as a coach and mentor to the staff. In accordance with corporate and departmental policies and procedures, this person demonstrates the consistent ability to act as a role model by providing direction in the application of the nursing process, quality/performance improvement standards and organizational/departmental goals and objectives.
