Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. The role focuses on expanding knowledge, coordinating care and supervising other caregivers through delegation and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
• BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Six months nursing experience or active participation in Nurse Residency.
• Two or more years of nursing experience highly desired; telemetry/Cath Lab/CCU exposure valued.
• BSN preferred or willing to obtain within 3 years of hire; national certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support staff.
• Delegate tasks, validate outcomes and participate in care coordination.
