Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing and one year of RN experience.
• Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire.
• Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days and Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: admissions and ongoing assessment of patient’s condition; provide nursing care meeting physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Planning: design and evaluate plan of care, educate patient/family, coordinate discharge.
• Implementation: prepare patients for treatments and procedures; report significant changes; follow safety protocols.
• Evaluation: reassess patients after interventions and modify care as needed.
• Report Skills: give and receive Bedside Shift Report and ensure continuity of care.
