Qualifikationen

• Current State of Idaho RN license in good standing
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Two to three years of Cath Lab experience preferred
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire

Aufgaben

• Responsible for all testing and interventional procedures in the Cath lab (e.g., cardiac catheterizations, PCI, device implants, IVC filters, balloon pump, impella, pericardiocentesis, aneurysm repair, EP, structural heart).
• Perform SBAR hand-off communications.
• Assist through all aspects of the procedure including pre/post transport, site preparation, sterile technique, patient monitoring, and hemostasis.
• Manage emergent cases and maintain accurate, timely patient records.
