Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is hiring an RN for Cath Pre/Post Procedure coordination in Idaho Falls. You will manage pre-procedure scheduling, verify consent, and review medications. The role includes IV access, pre-procedural assessments, and monitoring during all phases of care.

You will assist anesthesia during TEEs and cardioversions, monitor hemodynamics, and educate patients on discharge care and warning signs. Active Idaho RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Idaho RN license in good standing.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• BLS or BCLS certification (Red Cross or AHA).
• ACLS certification (Red Cross or AHA).

Responsabilités

• Coordinate pre-procedure scheduling for invasive cardiology procedures.
• Review patient history, obtain consent, establish IV access and pre-procedure assessments.
• Monitor patient during pre- and post-procedure phases and respond to changes.
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation during TEEs and assist specialists.
• Provide discharge education and post-procedure care guidance.
