Job summary

CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Nebraska is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse to deliver high-level nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.

As part of a specialized multidisciplinary team, you will monitor hemodynamic status, assist with procedures, and provide post-procedure education while ensuring precise documentation and readiness of equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license valid in the state.
• BLS required; ACLS within 5 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments and verify informed consent.
• Assist interventional team during procedures and monitor hemodynamics.
• Respond to complications and operate emergency equipment as needed.
• Administer procedural medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Manage sheath removal and provide post-procedure education and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate real-time documentation and ensure supplies and equipment are ready.
